A lady d!isgraced me at the mall and asked me to stop dressing like a masquerade – Deborah Enenche Reveals

“A lady d!isgraced me at the mall and asked me to stop dressing like a masquerade” – Deborah Enenche Reveals.

The first daughter of the founder and senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Deborah Hawthorn Uloko Nee Paul-Enenche took to her social media platforms to narrate what happened between her and a fan in the mall and how she reacted to the incident.

She said a fan came to meet her while she was in the mall with her sister Daniella. The fan was really happy and surprised to finally get to meet her in person. She mentioned that she had seen her pass by in church on Sunday but initially mistook her for a masquerade brought to the church, not realizing it was her. She admitted that the statement initially angered her as she struggled to control her emotions.

she said the statement made her cry a bit later on when she left the mall and got to her house.

@alexuslmartin1 thank you so much sis 🥹😭. Being honest, it made me cry a bit later on. I felt really badly because I do what I do to inspire young people to serve God in a fun pure way. So seeing someone mock me to my face was hurtful and shocking. But we bless God for His mercies and showing us how to react in love and not vengeance 🥹

Story time 😄Summary is :1. Those who talk behind your back will always be behind you 2. We need to be more loving as believers 3. Heap coals on the head of your enemies by being loving PS:- Apologies for the crumbs on my face, I just ate 😂

Reactions from her friends and followers below 👇👇

It’s her opinion most people don’t agree with our dressing style or standards doesn’t mean they are bullies it’s just how they see things, their perspective doesn’t change anything about who we are . I will thank her for her opinion and let her know I’m a masquerade for Jesus 😂. And she shouldn’t worry when she sees a masquerade in the house of God next time . She should dwell on the reason why she was in church in the first place and that’s to worship and fellowship.

You sound really nice!!!!! I guess it must have been a weird experience, but I think the lady was just being honest. We love you person and all but your style sometimes can be confusing! She didn’t mean to embarrass you if she said it to your face having ran up@to you with so much enthusiasm and love( from what you described. You must agree your dress style is not “conventional “ so her thinking you were a masquerade at first glance, must have been her true experience. and she was just saying to your face ( although I don’t think that was necessary on her part) however I think people can be genuinely wrong. He owning up her comment. was her her being truthful I think. That was an opportunity to making a good friend/fan/acquinttanve if you handle it maturely. As a Christian that’s good. She did not speak at your back she was on your comment!!!!! That’s as clear as it can get on social media

Funny how I saw you at the mall yesterday. At the time it was just you, your sister and I in Miniso but I didn’t want to invade your space, I had to act calm but I was so happy to see you!!❤️❤️ maybe next time I’ll walk up to you and hug you, hope there’s a next time 🤭❤️ you have such a contagious laughter, I remember when you were laughing with the lady at the front desk and saying something about the things you got that weren’t part of the reasons you came there😂😂😭 so cute

You sound so good! Felt like I was listening to a podcast ❤ you should consider one 🫂 just talk about anything we will listen ma 😊

Sentiment and your emotions aside, You know your dressings are always weird which I think she’s trying to refer to. This is not even bully or hate, or gossiping you behind. I believe you should expect most of these reactions. It’s normal for people to talk when they see something weird 🤷🏽‍♂️ You’re a very beautiful lady💯 but truth be told your dressings are usually weird!

Even me, I’m embarrassed and disappointed on the behalf of the person who said that 😴 but thinking about it now it seems there was an aggressive reaction the person expected from which would validated their perspective of you. Lord help us

I love this!! Thank you for the transparency. So many people shine the light on all the good times but don’t share things like this. And how you responded as gracefully as you did🙌🏽 being able to pass the test when people act ugly is a mark of a true Christian 🔥 keep going sis🥰❤️🙏🏽

Some people are so empty that the only time they feel some level of importance is when they insult you and you react ! Your reaction makes them feel some level of importance.. but as you walked away I’m clapping for you 👏👏👏👏 for not feeding her toxic emptiness.
