6 Ways to Activate Angels to Work for You

The Bible tells us that angels do many things. Some of them are being God’s servants and Holy Warriors, watching history happen, thanking and worshipping God, and being Guardian Angels, who watch over people and lead them on God’s behalf. According to the Bible, God’s angels bring Him messages, comfort the lonely, keep us safe, and even fight His wars. “Do not be afraid” or “Do not fear” was the first thing angels said when they brought news. Most of the time, though, God’s angels work quietly and don’t draw attention to themselves while they do what God tells them to do. Of course, God has sent angels to do work for Him, but He has also sent them to do very important things in our lives. Angels have been said to help and protect Christians all over the world in many amazing stories. Here are six things that angels do to help us.

They watch over and keep you safe

Angels are guardians sent by God to watch over us and fight for us. In other words, they are working for you. There are many stories about people whose lives were saved by angels. “For He will tell His angels about you to watch over you in all your ways,” the Bible says. “They will carry you on their shoulders so that you don’t step on a stone” (Psalm 91:11–12). God sent His angel to protect Daniel, and the angel shut the lions’ mouths. In all our ways, God tells His faithful servants who are closest to Him to watch over us. Thanks to His angels, God can show His pure, selfless love.

They spread God’s message

That the word “angel” means “messenger” shouldn’t be a surprise, since God often picks angels to bring His message to His people in the Bible. In the Bible, angels brought God’s truth or word to people by following the lead of the Holy Spirit. Several places in the Bible say that angels were tools that God used to show His Word. But this is definitely not the whole story. It is said that angels have shown up many times to deliver important messages. There are times when angels send words of support and encouragement. But there are also times when angels send messages of warning, tell of judgements, and even carry out judgements.

They study you.

It says in the Bible, “…for we are a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men” (1 Corinthians 4:9). The Bible says that many eyes are on us, even the eyes of angels. Even more important than that, though, is what it means. “Spectacle” is a Greek word that in this passage means “theatre” or “public assembly.” After watching people for a long time, angels learn new things. Angels don’t have to study the past like people do; they’ve already lived it. So, they know how other people have behaved and responded to situations and can very accurately guess how we might behave in similar ones.

They give you hope.

God sends angels to us to comfort us and help us find the way we need to go. In Acts, angels tell the early followers of Jesus to start their mission, free Paul and others from jail, and set up meetings between Christians and non-Christians. We also know that God can give angels a lot of power. “Mighty angels” is what Paul calls them (2 Thessalonians 1:17). On the morning of the resurrection, the power of a single angel was shown in part. “Behold, there was a great earthquake! For the Lord’s angel came down from heaven, rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it” (Matthew 28:2). It’s important to remember that only God is all-powerful, even though angels can be very strong. Angels are strong, but supremacy is never given to them.

They Deliver You

One more thing that angels do for us is save us. Angels play a big role in the lives of God’s people. They do certain things, and the fact that God sends them to help us when we need it is a blessing. God protects us in many ways, and angels are one of them. They are here on Earth right now because they were sent to help us as heirs of salvation. “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” asks the Bible. (Read Hebrews 1:14). They can tell us about danger and keep us safe because of this important role in our lives.

They Care For Us At Death

When that time comes, we’ll move into our homes in heaven and be helped by angels. They are with us as we go through this. The most important teachings in the Bible about this come from Christ Himself. In Luke 16, Jesus talked about the beggar Lazarus. He said, “So it was that the beggar died and was carried by angels to Abraham’s bosom,” which means to Heaven. Keep in mind that Lazarus wasn’t just taken to heaven. Angels took him there. Because we are going to die, why would angels do this for us? There are angels because God tells them to watch over His children. There are angels in our lives, but we can’t see them. They are here to help us in all situations, even when we are dying.

God loves us so much that He sends His angels to watch over us and keep us safe at different times in our lives. Even if we don’t see or know that angels are around us right now, they are because God told them to be and are working to help us in this life and the next.
